Remember, Remember the 5th of November...

It's Friday, which means I can allow myself to buy the latest copy of my favourite weekly publication, The Radio Times.

Don't judge me. Some people read Heat, others prefer the weekly television guide.

Anyway, on the cover this week is Lady Mary from Downton Abbey, an amazing new period drama that has been aired on ITV for the past 7 weeks. The series finale is on Sunday, and I am very excited! Followers of the series (yes, Rebecca, I'm talking to you) will know that it's been a pretty eventful few weeks, and I for one am wondering how they're going to manage to tie up all the loose ends in just one episode. But there's one thing we can be sure of- whatever happens, it's going to be good.

Perhaps a slightly more normal thing to be excited about is the weekend, which has finally arrived and not a moment too soon. I'm going to a slightly belated Bonfire Night party tomorrow, which should be fun. In fact, I can see fireworks outside my window right now. They would be very pretty if they weren't so distracting.

But for now, please excuse me; I have a game of Spider Solitaire to finish.
